Up and Going Well

It looks like we’ve launched this blogging thing well. The next tip I’d like to show you is how to create blogrolls to your friends’ sites and back to our class’s page. That will make it easier for people to navigate through more of our class’s thoughts.

Look to the blogrolls to the right and make sure your blog appears there. If it is not on the list then you need to see me about why you’re not on it. Some people had their last names in their usernames and will have to create a new account.

I appreciate the sincerity I’m reading in your writing. Getting to know writers is one of my favorite parts about blogs, and that’s obviously going to happen with sites like Jenny’s. Danielle makes the excellent point that “students will feel they can express themselves freely without being in front of a class.” I hope that proves to be true. Raychul2662 defines a blog as “an online journal that other people can read,” and I think the key bit of fun with these will be that other people can and will read them. And if nothing else, I’m enjoying the wide range of presentations chosen, from the funky choice of Funkdoc to Blondgirl’s soothing beach. So read and blog on – let’s see how it goes.
