What are you noticing?

Today’s entry concerns what we have read in The Old Man and the Sea. Again, I am letting you determine the content, but I am starting you out with the simple question, “What are you noticing as we read the book?” You could tell readers some of the questions you have had so far or you could point out positive or negative aspects of the book. These are your comments, and hopefully in reading them we could get an idea of what is going on in your brain as we read Hemingway’s short novel. Remember to frame your article for people who were not in class – fill in the basic details of the occasion of your writing, and maybe consider quoting from the text to support or explain one of your points.
