The American Man - What does he look like?

In a short blog article (7-10 sentences), I’d like you to explain what the archetypal American man is.

Consider all stereotypes and characterizations that you know, and then form what you would consider to be the definitive character sketch of the American man.

We’ll continue to study Hemingway and his work, and then we’ll look back at your character sketches and see if you think they have been influenced by Hemingway’s work.
